Birthdaze ("we", "our", "the app") is a birthday tracking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Account information — Your name and email address from your Apple or Google sign-in, used to identify your account.
Birthday entries — Names and dates you add to the app. These are stored on our servers so you can access them across devices.
Device information — Your timezone, language preference, and push notification token, used to send birthday reminders at the right time in your language.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect analytics or usage tracking data
We do not collect location data
We do not collect contacts or phone data
We do not sell or share your data with third parties
We do not display advertisements

How We Use Your Data

To store and display your birthday entries
To send push notification reminders for upcoming birthdays
To authenticate your account

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Turso (libSQL) database servers. API requests are handled by Cloudflare Workers. Push notifications are delivered via the Expo Push Service.

Cloudflare Workers — for API hosting
Turso — for database hosting

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by signing out of the app. If you want your data fully removed from our servers, contact us at the email below and we will delete it within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Birthdaze is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
